Okay so it’s 12 years ago today since the world stood still and we watched the tragic events that shook the globe!! The beautiful Twin Towers (WTC) were attacked in, what could only be described as, the worst terrorist attack ever witnessed by man!! An event that changed the way we live forever…
We will never truly know who was to blame for the attack. Most people say it was Al Qaeda, a few people believe it was an inside job. If I’m honest, I agree with the latter. But right now this isn’t about who is to blame, it’s about remembering those lost in the tragedy. All those affected by the events that took place that day!!
America have unveiled a new building in replacement for one of the Towers and as beautiful as it is, I believe they’ve made a huge mistake!!
It is nearly identical to the WTC only this time there’s only one tower.. Anyone want to start the countdown before someone attacks that one?? I don’t want to look at the negatives all the time but this is just a stupid act on Americas behalf!! I certainly do not want to be witnessing another attack on America again and I’m sure you don’t either!! I’m not expecting anything to change in the way we build our skyscrapers but I think using your brain should come into play!! Just say it was a terrorist attack and not an inside job, do you really think it’s just going to end there and then!! “Oh we caused enough trouble lets leave them B now” SAID NO TERRORIST EVER!!! In my eyes, building a basic replica is just inviting terrorists to blow it up!! Just like we did with The Shard…
It’s time to face facts, we live in a world where none of us are safe, should we not at least be trying to protect the things we love!!
